NJ COED RESTAURANT SOFTBALL IS BACK!

Summer League

Opening Day: Monday, June 3rd

Scrimmage: Monday: May 13 & May 20

• Early Bird Team $200 Team Discount Special Expires March 31st

LEAGUE INFORMATION

To join the restaurant league, all players be 18 and over and are to be currently working in the restaurant food and beverage industry.

• We are accepting only establishments that have a kitchen that serves food and beverages.

• Players must be from the same establishment or can combine a team with other employees from other restaurants. (This season there is no limit on players from other F&B establishments).

• We are not allowing individuals that are not in the restaurant or food and beverage business.

• In addition, we are allowing 3 grandfather player per team that have been with RSC for the past 5 years. RSC will determine if the grandfather player signing up is eligible or not. No grandfather captains!

• We will be asking for proof of employment and ID. All players information must be submitted by registration deadline. Fail to submit all players information will result in not placing your team into the league.

• New Policy: There will be no more odd number of teams scheduled in the season. Spots will be reserved in order with a down payment and paid in full by the registration deadline. We will not hold a spot without a 50% deposit. If your team is the last team that paid and there are no more teams to make the schedule even, then unfortunately we will refund your payment. We will try our best to find another team so the last team to register doesn’t have to miss out. On the other hand, if a team gives a deposit or full payment and bailes out at the last minute, that team will lose 50% of their deposit or payment. We will try to replace that team or return the payment of the last team that registered. This new policy is in place to make sure the season schedule goes well for every team. The odd team schedule doesn’t work out with the byes and double headers.

RESTAURANT LEAGUE

• This season you make a team with employees from different food & beverage businesses. (No Limit)

• Coed: minimum 3 female players on roster.

• Min 3 female players in the lineup.

• Min 2 female players playing the field.

• No max on players per team.

GENERAL INFO

• League Available: North, Central, South Jersey

• Mondays/Afternoons

• Game time: 10:30 AM

• Two 7 inning games (double header)

• 8 weeks in regular season. Plus post season play.

• Game balls: Clinchers

• Bats allowed: ASA/USA Marks

• $Prize: TBA & team trophy. (All prizes are determined by amount of teams)

• Lincoln Park, Jersey City

• Laurel Hill Park, Secaucus

• Kennedy Park, Lodi

• Barbour Pond Field, Wayne

• Brookdale Park, Bloomfield

• Warnanco, Roselle

(Contact us if you have a home field that is not on the list. We can provide paperwork/insurance to get permits.)

LEAGUE FEE

• Free Entry for captains.

• Team Fee Special: $1,200 roster of 15 Players. (Not Include Capt. 16 Players Total.)

• $75 Per Player.

• $100 Forfeit Fee. (Refundable)

• Umpire fee not included $35 per game.

• Early Bird Team $200 Team Discount Special Expires 3/15. Register will full payment by March 31st. Additional players and uniform upgrades can be paid separately by final registration deadline 4/29.

• Full team with players from the same establishment will get a $200 discount. Discount will be awarded after the final roster is due. (Does not include with the Early Bird Special)
